    Chetan Sharma is a former Indian cricketer who represented India in Tests and ODIs as a medium pace bowler. He was one of the strike bowlers for India in the 1980s. He was born in 1966 in Ludhiana, Punjab. He made his first class cricket debut at the age of sixteen for Haryana and thereafter went on to play One day Internationals a year later. He also played some useful innings as a tail end batsman. His knock of 101 not out against England when he was promoted to No. 4 in the Nehru Cup match in 1989 earned him immense fame. After retiring from cricket he became a cricket commentator.
