Kerala proved to be the most perfect honeymoon spot for us. We loved the weather so greatly. We booked 4 three nights and four days of Kerala honeymoon packages from our hometown of Mumbai. We’ve always wanted to begin our journey in the midst of nature and that’s why we chose our personal Indian destination which was Kerala. Also, it was a secure choice due to the ban that is on many flights from overseas. With its beaches that are sandy with lush hills, Kerala is a wonderful South Indian destination. Kerala is often referred to as being “God’s Own Country.” It is a paradise of exotic honeymoon destinations as well as rich cultural heritage. The itinerary we took according to Thrillophilia Review on Facebook included Kochi, Munnar, Alleppey, and Alleppey and Alleppey, with Kochi as the beginning and the end of the route.
Day 1 saw us arrive at Kochi one of the most beautiful cities on the Arabian Sea. We were received by the travel agent’s representative and then transported to Munnar following a drink. When we arrived at Munnar we made time to visit Valara Waterfalls. Valara Waterfalls and enjoyed the beautiful panorama.
Once we reached Munnar and checked in, we stayed at the hotel and unwinded for a few hours. Then, in the evening we set out to see the spice plantations. We spent an evening in peace amid the lush vegetation. From here, we could have been to Attukad Waterfalls where the gushing water and cool breeze are breathtaking, but we decided to enjoy this time in solitude to enjoy the intimacy.
After a romantic evening, we returned to the hotel for a comfortable stay. In the morning, following an energizing breakfast, we set off on our exploration of Munnar. We set out for a tour around Munnar that comprised Eravikulam National park, the highest point of Munnar where we could view Nilgiri Tahr, Tea Museum, Flower garden, Eco-Point, Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Dam, and more.
Then, we went to the most beautiful locations which we had included in the Kerala honeymoon package according to Thrillophilia reviews on Twitter. These romantic spots included the Valara waterfalls The rose garden, as well as the stunning Pothamedu viewpoint. We then went to the hotel for an overnight visit to Munnar. In the morning, following breakfast, we headed to Alleppey.
It is a place that is completely water-locked blessed with stunning natural beauty and a variety of canals, rivers, and lakes, a perfect location for a boat trip. We arrived and entered a stunning Kerala-styled houseboat on the charming backwaters which is the best way to discover the captivating beauty in the backwaters. We both indulged in a tasty lunch and spent the entire afternoon cruising along the backwaters. After dinner, and the night sky on the deck with my companion We enjoyed a comfortable night’s stay on the houseboat. The next morning, we had to be picked up at the Kochi airport by travel agents and the trip ended. In the end, Munnar, Alleppey, and Thekkady were enjoyable destinations to visit. The experience aboard a houseboat was unforgettable.
The time spent in Kerala was very comfortable, and the food was extremely delicious. We took a lot of pictures against the backdrop of the tea estates and echo points waterfalls and photo points. Thank you for Thrillophilia’s Instagram reviews for their amazing ideas that made planning things in a way that was so efficient. This trip will be special for both of us.
