Sukhbir is a Bhangra singer often called as the “Prince of Bhangra”. He was born in Punjab, India and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. At present, he is based in Dubai since 1992. His debut album New Stylee won the 1996 Channel V Awards for Best Debut Album, Best Male Vocalist and Best Music Video. His second album Gal Ban Gayi was released in 1997 and then the third titled Hai Energy in 1999. His other album Dil Kare contain hit numbers like the title song and Nachle Soniye. The video to the song ‘Girls Girls Girls’ features many Indian stars like Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, and Divya Chauhan. His music is a fusion of bhangra with rap, reggae and techno. He also sang the song Dil Laga from the film Dhoom 2.
