Virender Sehwag is a former Indian cricketer and a former vice-captain. He also captained the national side for a few matches. He was a dashing and aggressive right-handed opening batsman. He was very destructive as a batsman. He was born in 1978 in Najafgarh, Delhi, India to Krishan and Krishna Sehwag. He has two elder sisters and a younger brother. He made his first class cricket debut for Delhi cricket team in 1997–98 seasons. He is the only Indian cricketer to have been honored twice as the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World.
